How to Refill an Epson T0691 Ink Cartridge

1. Buy a refillable cartridge for your Epson T0691 printer if you don’t already have one. The standard cartridges used in Epson T0691 printers do not have a safe opening for refilling and cannot be safely refilled without the threat of ink spilling into the printer.
2. Get a refill ink kit for the Epson T0691 printer. The refill ink kit contains the proper ink type and colors for an Epson T0691 printer cartridge and also comes with the syringes for filling the cartridge.
3. Cover the surface where you will be refilling the cartridges. Set the cartridge on the surface and take the plug out of one section of the cartridge only, such as the black section.
4. Fill a syringe with approximately 15 ml the proper ink color for the section that is unplugged. Insert the tip of the syringe into the open hole on the cartridge and press the plunger on the syringe very slowly to allow the ink to flow in at a slow, even pace.
5. Continue filling the cartridge until the ink is approximately ¼ of an inch from the top of the cartridge. Remove the syringe from the hole and push the plug back into place.
6. Remove the plug for the next section of the cartridge and repeat the process with the next ink color. Repeat until all four sections of the cartridge are filled.
7. Return the Epson T0691 ink cartridge to your Epson printer. Print one to three test pages to clean the printer of debris and ready the cartridge for printing.
