How to Remove a Brother Laser Printer Fuser

1. Turn off the printer and allow it to sit for at least half an hour. The fuser cartridge will be extremely hot and it is important to give it plenty of time to cool down. Also remove the power cord from the printer.
2. Open the back cover and the scanner unit of the printer. Release the locking levers on each side of the fuser.
3. Grasp the handle on each side of the fuser and pull it free of the printer.
4. Remove the new fuser from the box and remove all of the packaging materials. Grasp the handles on each side of the fuser and carefully slide it into the printer.
5. Make sure the fuser is seated firmly in place. Secure the locking levers, then close the printer cover.
