How to Remove the Print Head on a Canon IP4300 Printer

1. Open the inner cover of your printer. The print head holder will move to the center.
2. Raise the print head lock lever until it stops. This is the gray lever on the right side of the cartridge cavity.
3. Lift out the print head.
Installing a New Print Head
1. Remove the new print head from its packing and take off the protective orange cap.
2. Insert the new print head.
3. Lower the print head lock lever and replace ink cartridges.
4. Close the printer cover.
5. Print a test page.
