How to Remove Print Settings From the Registry

1. Click 'Start' from your Windows desktop.
2. Type 'regedit' in the search box and wait for the results to display above.
3. Click regedit.exe when it appears in the results listing.
4. Locate 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers' by clicking through the list on the left side of the regedit window.
5. Right-click the registry key and click 'Export.' Browse to the location you wish to save the backed up key and type a name in the 'File name' box. Click 'Save.'
6. Right-click the key and click 'Delete.'
7. Locate 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print'
8. Right-click the registry key and click 'Export.' Browse to the location you wish to save the backed up key and type a name in the 'File name' box. Click 'Save.'
9. Right-click the key and click 'Delete.'
