How to Repair USB Drivers (3 Steps)

1. Open the Control Panel through My Computer, and then click on 'Device Manager.' Here, you will see a list of all hardware devices in your computer and any problems will be noted by a yellow exclamation mark.
2. Expand the tree labeled 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' and look for any troubled USB devices. You can also right-click on any of the listed items and click on 'Properties' to see whether the device is functioning correctly under the General tab.
3. Click on 'Update Driver' under the Driver tab in the Properties dialog box to upgrade your drivers. Alternately, after you connect your device, you can click on 'Roll Back Driver' to revert to the last working driver you had installed.
