1. Open up the document or image that you wish to print. If you're preparing an image for screenprinting or overhead projection, make sure that the contrast on the image is as high as possible while retaining the important details of the image.
2. Select the 'File' drop down menu, and click 'Print.' Use the 'Printer' drop down menu to select the appropriate printer you wish to print from.
3. Look for the 'Page Setup' or 'Options' menu option, and click on it. Select a standard paper size of 8 1/2 by 11 inches, and select 'Inkjet Transparency Film' under paper type.
4. Take the stack of transparency paper and fan the pages slightly to make sure they are not stuck together. Align them so that they're all lined up and square with each other.
5. Remove any paper in your printer and load your inkjet transparency film. Determine which side of the transparency is sticky or rough (compared to the smooth opposite side), and face that side print side up or down, depending on whether your printer takes paper as it sits in the tray or inverts it first. The printer should place ink on the rough side. Align your transparencies so that the white tab is facing in and can be grabbed easily by your printer.
6. Select the 'Print' option for your document or image, and watch the printer to make sure that only one transparency sheet is grabbed and that it enters the printer smoothly.
