How to Use a Projector With a Dell Latitude D630

1. Turn off your Dell Latitude and the projector before attaching any video connection cables.
2. Insert one end of the VGA cable into the Dell Latitude's VGA video output port. This can be found on the back of the laptop and is colored blue.
3. Plug the opposite end of the VGA cable into the projector's video input port. All projectors have a VGA input which are usually located on the back of the projector.
4. Power on both your Dell and the projector. Wait for both to completely warm up.
5. Change the video display setting on your Dell so that you can view content through the projector. On the Dell Latitude keyboard, press 'FN' and 'F8' to change the video display view. Your Dell is now properly connected to a projector.
