How to Install a PDF Printer (9 Steps)

1. Visit the Bullzip homepage to install a PDF printer on your computer system. This application is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 operating systems or higher. From virtually any Windows-based program, you'll have the chance to instantly create a PDF.
2. Scroll to the middle of the homepage and click the 'Download PDF Printer' icon for your personal location. Within a few minutes, a pop-up window will open for you. Select the 'Save File' button to download the Bullzip PDF printer onto your current computer system. Make sure that it's saved to a location that will be easily found.
3. Install the Bullzip PDF printer by double-clicking the downloaded file. A pop-up window will open and guide you through the setup process. To move through the installation steps, click the 'Next' button to do so. Choose to add the Bullzip PDF printer to your computer desktop and 'Quick Launch' section. Click the 'Install' button, and the necessary files will automatically be added to your computer. If you'd like to launch the Bullzip PDF printer after installation, keep the check in the box next to 'Bullzip PDF Printer on the Web' and press the 'Finish' button.
4. Look at the 'Printers' window when it opens. It will list all existing printers connected to your computer system. The Bullzip PDF printer will also appear in your list of installed printers. When you're ready to use the application, just open an Internet browser page or virtually any other program on your computer.
5. Select the printing option when available. The 'Print' window will instantly appear for you to choose a printer. From the drop-down list, change from your default printer to the Bullzip PDF printer instead. Press the 'OK' button to begin printing. Another pop-up window will appear with several options to choose from. On the 'General' tab, change the default file name by clicking the '...' next to the existing file name. Customize your PDF by clicking onto some of the other tabs. A few options include adding a watermark, merging, security, and changing document properties. When you've finished, click the 'Save' button to finalize the changes.
PrimoPDF Printer
1. Navigate to the PrimoPDF homepage to download the free PDF printer. Click the 'Download Free' button to begin your installation steps. You'll be quickly directed to another page to start downloading the PrimoPDF printer.
2. Select the 'Download Now' button on the Cnet download page. A pop-up box will appear for you to click the 'Save File' button. After downloading the PrimoPDF printer, double click the file to start installing. Choose the 'Next' button to move through the steps. You'll be prompted to register your version of PrimoPDF by entering your name and email address. Press the 'Finish' button when you've completed the installation.
3. Open an application on your Windows computer system or launch a web page. Select the 'Print' option from your menu toolbar. When the 'Print' window appears, change from the default printer to the PrimoPDF printer. Another window will display for you to change settings for your new PDF document.
4. Decide if you'd like your PDF to be viewed on a computer screen only, available for printing, compressed for an eBook version, or some of the other choices. Add document properties or a security feature that will limit access to your new PDF. Change the name of the file by clicking the '...' next to the 'Save As' section. When you've finished making changes, click the 'Create PDF' button to convert.
