How to Print Wireless With a Laptop (4 Steps)

1. Make sure you have a wireless router and that one computer in your house, or network is physically connected to the printer. This is usually done by having a standard desktop computer connected to a printer and then adding on the wireless router and programming the laptop in.
2. Purchase a wireless network adapter and install it according to the manufacturers directions. Install the software and restart your computer for the best results. Once this is done, you should be ready to install the same software on your laptop and get everything running cohesively.
3. Install the wireless network adapter software onto the laptop hard drive and system and restart it to get everything running correctly. You should be able to test and make sure you are able to network the computers together and access the same files on either one of them.
4. Turn the printer on and take the laptop into a different room. Select a document to print and print it with the specifications you may have. The printer should automatically go into pending made and start the printer process just the same as if it was sitting next to you with a cable connecting the two.
