How to Use a Local Printer for a Remote Desktop

1. Click 'Start' and then click 'Remote Desktop Connection' in Windows Vista or 7. In Windows XP, click 'Start,' then 'All Programs' and 'Accessories.' Under Accessories, click 'Communications' and 'Remote Desktop Connection.'
2. Click the 'Options' button in the 'Remote Desktop Connection' box.
3. Click the 'Local Resources' tab located at the top of the 'Remote Desktop Connection' box.
4. Click the box next to 'Printers' so that it is selected.
5. Click the 'Connect' button. Your 'Remote Desktop' session will then begin.
