How to Photocopy With a Canon Pixma MX310

1. Press the 'Power' button, located on the left-side of the control panel, to turn on the Pixma MX310.
2. Press the 'Copy' button, located on the left side of the printer's control panel.
3. Place the document or documents that you would like to copy on the glass, or in the automatic document feeder. To use the flat-bed scanner, lift the cover of the printer and then place the original face-down aligned with the top-right corner of the glass. To use the automatic document feeder, lift the document tray from the top-left of the top of the printer. Insert the original face-up into the automatic document feeder tray. Slide the guides to fit around the document or documents.
4. Enter the number of copies that you would like to make using the numeric buttons.
5. Press the 'Settings' button to adjust the copy settings if desired. Use the 'Left' and 'Right' arrow buttons to scroll through the adjustable settings, including enlarge/reduce, page size, media type, intensity and image quality. When the setting that you would like to change is displayed, press the 'OK' button and then use the 'Left' and 'Right' arrow buttons to adjust the setting. Press the 'OK' button again to save the setting.
6. Press the 'Color' button to make a color copy of the document using the entered settings. Press the 'Black' button to make a black and white copy of the document using the entered settings. When the 'Color' or 'Black' button is pressed, the copies will be made.
