How to Change the Ink Cartridge in the Epson SX205 Printer

1. Open the top lid of the SX205, including the scanner bed.
2. Press the 'Stop' button on the printer control panel. A cartridge that needs to be replaced will line up with the arrow on the low-ink indicator, identified by an icon of a drop with a line through it.
3. Continue to press the 'Stop' button until each empty ink cartridge has been identified by the arrow and the entire assembly moves to the right side of the printer.
4. Pull the plastic cover of the ink cartridge holder toward you to expose the ink cartridges.
5. Push the release tab on the front of the cartridge that needs to be replaced, then slide the cartridge up and out of the carrier.
6. Remove the replacement ink cartridge from its package. Shake the cartridge to evenly distribute the ink, then peel the protective film from the bottom of the cartridge. Be careful not to touch the ink nozzle when doing this.
7. Push the ink cartridge into the carrier so the release tab faces you. The tab snaps into place when the cartridge is fully inserted.
8. Continue removing and replacing the ink cartridge until each empty cartridge is replaced.
9. Replace the plastic cover for the ink cartridge carrier.
10. Close the lid of the printer and press the 'Stop' button. The indicator light below flashes when the printer is ready to use.
