1. Uninstall the washer if it has been installed prior. Disconnect the water lines with channel pliers. Disconnect the drain, then allow the drain hose to drain into a bucket. Move the washer away from the wall.
2. Lay the cardboard on the floor behind the washer. Employ your helper to assist you. Tip the washer over, then lay it on its back on the cardboard.
3. Open the pedestal drawer. Using the Phillips-head screwdriver, remove two Phillips screws holding the drawer to the rails--one from each side of the drawer. Set the screws aside. Pull the drawer out, then set the drawer aside. Push the drawer slides into the pedestal.

5. Install two 5/8-inch hex-head screws into holes in the bottom of the washer on the back edge about 1/3 of the way in from each side. Turn each screw in until it is protruding about 3/8 inch from the bottom of the washer.
6. Tip the pedestal up and lay it on its back. Move the pedestal to mate the top of the pedestal with the bottom of the washer. Insert the screw heads from step 5 into the keyhole slots in the top of the pedestal frame.
7. Lift the pedestal up to seat the hex-head screws from step 5 into the keyhole slot of the pedestal frame, then install the remaining two 5/8-inch hex-head screws into the holes in the top of the pedestal at the front. Screw the hex-head screws into the bottom of the washer frame.

Adjust any of the feet that do not touch the floor by loosening the foot's lock nut with the 9/16-inch wrench, then using the 1/4-inch wrench to turn the foot's shaft so the foot contacts the floor.
12. Place the level in the top of the washer. Check level side to side and front to back. Use the 9/16-inch wrench to loosen lock nuts, and adjust the feet with the 1/4-inch wrench until the washer is level side to side and front to back.. Tighten all lock nuts once the washer is level.
13. Pull the drawer slides out of the pedestal. Reassemble the drawer with the screws removed in step 3.
14. Slide the drawer into the pedestal.
