How to Replace a Staple Cartridge in a Canon Copier

1. Open the door to the finishing unit. The finishing unit is located beneath the trays that collect copies.
2. Locate the staple cartridge. Depending on the model, it is either in the center or toward the bottom of the finishing unit. It is visible once the door is opened.
3. Slide the staple cartridge out and discard it.
4. Slide the new staple cartridge into the cartridge holder. Once it does not slide any farther, it is securely in place. Close the finishing door.
