1. Prepare the workplace by placing a paper towel on a flat surface, such as a table.
2. Take a thumb drill and drill a tiny hole on the top of the Brother LC61 starter cartridge.
3. Fill the syringe from the refill kit with ink. The cartridge's capacity is limited to 12 ml, so make sure you leave some room while refilling to avoid a spill.
4. Insert the needle of the syringe into the tiny hole you drilled on top of the cartridge. Inject the ink very slowly until you fill the cartridge.
5. Seal the hole you drilled in the cartridge using a set screw.
6. Put the cartridge back inside the printer and run a few cleaning cycles.
