1. Lift the scanner lid up carefully, until is securely locks into place. Locate the Mx330 printer cartridge holder. Pinch and lift the lid of the cartridge holder in order to unlock the lid and gain access to the ink cartridges.
2. Open the new Mx330 ink cartridge box and remove the cartridge from the plastic sleeve. An orange tab will be located on the underside of the ink cartridge. The tab should be peeled off in the direction towards which the black arrow is pointing.
3. Pinch the tab on the empty Mx330 ink cartridge in order to unlock it and lift it out of the cartridge holder. Dispose of the old cartridge before the new one is installed.
4. Place the new Mx330 ink cartridge into the cartridge holder and gently press down on it until it locks into place. A clicking noise will be heard when the cartridge is securely positioned in the holder.
5. Close and lock the lid on the Mx330 ink cartridge holder. Gently close the scanner lid. It will take one to two minutes for the printer to read and accept the new ink cartridge.
6. Press the start button in order to resume any printing commands that were in progress when the Mx330 ink cartridge ran out. If no printing was being performed at the time, then the printer will reset itself and be ready for future printing projects.
