How to Print Envelopes at Home

1. Open Microsoft Word and navigate to the Tools menu at the top of the document. Click on the Letters and Mailings option and pick Envelopes or Envelopes and Labels. These items may vary in name and location depending on the version of Word being used.
2. Input the deliver address in the box provided, which places the address at the middle of the envelope. Then add the return address in the next box to place the address in the upper left corner of the envelope.
3. Pick the font formatting options from the tool bar and determine the font style and the font size for the address.

Using a computer system helps making printing envelopes easier.
Select the Letters and Mailings option and navigate to Envelopes or Envelopes and Labels as was done in Step 1. Select the option drop down menu at the bottom of the box and find the envelope size. Pick the size of the envelope or look at the custom size section if it is not listed.
5. Place the envelope in the printer where the paper is inserted which is also known as the document feeder area. Check if the printer has a designated feed specifically for envelopes, because it may include a guiding lever to keep the envelope in place.
6. Print one envelope to make sure everything has been typed in correctly and is printing as expected. If changes are needed, repeat Steps 1 through 5. Another option is to choose the printing option and change the printing option highlighted. If needed, test another envelope or start printing the number of envelopes needed.
