How to Send a Long Distance Fax

1. Hook up the fax machine to a telephone port via a phone cord. Plug the electrical cord into the electrical socket.
2. Place your fax, print side down into the fax feed.
3. Enter the phone number in the fax’s display. Do this by entering '1' then the area code and phone number.
4. Press the display button that says, “Fax” or “Send.” The paper will filter through the feed and the display language will read, “Sending.” The display will change to “Fax Sent” when the status changes.
