How to Troubleshoot a Hewlett

1. Wait until the printer has completed what it's printing. Check the paper guides in the paper feed tray to make sure thet are adjusted to the proper size of the paper.
2. Turn the printer off and unplug it from the wall. Turn the printer around and remove the rear access panel.
3. Wipe off the rollers in the rear of the printer, using the microfiber cloth and distilled water. Move the rollers around and make sure to clean the whole roller, not just one side of each roller. Wait at least 15 minutes for the rollers to dry, then replace the rear panel.
4. Remove any paper in the paper feeder. Lift up the cover on the paper feeder and clean the rollers with the microfiber cloth and distilled water. Wait 15 minutes until the rollers have dried before closing the feeder’s cover.
