1. Remove the cartridges from the F380 printer.
2. Position the cartridges so they are right side up and the gold leads are facing you.
3. Place a small piece of tape over the gold contact in the top left corner of each cartridge.
4. Place the cartridge back in the F380 printer. The printer automatically prints an alignment page.
5. Remove the cartridges. Place a piece of tape over the gold contact in the top right corner of each cartridge.
6. Place the cartridges back into the F380 printer. The F380 prints another alignment page.
7. Remove the cartridges from the printer. Remove both pieces of tape from each cartridge.
8. Insert the cartridges into the F380 printer. The printer prints a cartridge alignment page. Each cartridge is now recognized as a full ink cartridge.
