How to Print 4x6 Photos on a Brother MFC 290C

1. Close the paper support flap, if open, and gently pull the tray out of the 290C. Then lift the paper tray cover and remove any paper from inside the tray.
2. Place the 4x6 photo paper inside the tray. Place the paper print-side down with the top edge first. Brother recommends using an additional piece of paper when printing photos.
3. Adjust the paper side and length guides by sliding them to correct position. The triangular marks on the guides should line up with the 4x6 setting. Do not allow the paper guides to press too firmly against the paper. This can cause the paper to lift slightly and result in paper feed problems.
4. Close the paper tray cover and gently push the tray into position within the 290C.
