How to Clean Video Projectors

1. Set your projector box in a comfortable and well-lit area.
2. Clean the projector with electronic wipes. Start from the center of the case going outward toward the case’s edge. Avoid wiping the area near the vents with a used cloth and run the wipe in any case seams using your nail.
3. Clean vents with cotton swabs. Avoid dust from falling into the slots by using sideways and scooping motions to catch the dust.
4. Run the tips of wetted cotton swabs between vents on flat surfaces, starting from the center and moving toward the outward edges.
5. Bring the air bulb very close to the lens while avoiding touching it. (Contact can cause complications.)
6. Expel several firm puffs of air in a clockwise direction.
7. Clean the dusty screen with a dry rag – preferably a lint-free cloth – starting from the center and moving toward the edge.
8. Remove spot on the screen with plain water at room temperature. Dampen one corner of the cloth and lightly rub the spot. Buff dry with a dry portion of the cloth in a gentle motion.
