How to Clean a Kyocera Printer (5 Steps)

1. Open the cover. Depending on your model, this may be on the top or side of the printer. Carefully brush any visible debris from the area.
2. Remove the drum if applicable. Do not expose it to light for more than five minutes as this will damage it.This will give you access to the paper transfer unit. Gently wipe this clean with your cloth.
3. Kyocera printers have a green cleaning knob. Gently pull this out two or three times. This will clean the charger inside the printer. Return the knob to the home position when done.
4. Brush any debris from the paper tray and feed that is easily visible. Be careful not to push the debris into the printer.
5. Close the printer and make sure the display reads that it is ready to print.
