How to Install an HP 5610 All

1. Turn on your HP 5610 All-in-One printer and your computer. Make sure to unplug the USB cord between the printer and computer.
2. Open your computer’s web browser. Go to www.hp.com. On the Hewlett Packard homepage select the “Support and Drivers” tab at the top of the page, then select “Download Drivers and Software.” In the blank box below type in 5610 All-in-One to look up the drivers and software for the printer. Select your printer from the list that is pulled up.
3. Choose the software that is compatible with the operating system you have on your computer. On the next page select “HP Officejet and PSC Full Feature Software and Drivers” from the list of downloads. If you download just the drivers you will only be able to print and not use any of the printer’s other features.
4. Select the “Save” button the window that pops up. Next, choose the place on your computer where you want to save the installation software, such as the desktop. Once the download is done, go to the place where you save the installation software and double-click on it. This will launch the installation software.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard. Once the wizard is finished, plug the USB cable back into the printer and computer and begin using the printer.
