1. Plug one end of an USB cable into the USB port on the TR-T88. Connect the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on the computer. Turn on the TR-T88.
2. Launch the Epson OPOS ADK configuration utility.
3. Set the “Device Class” setting to “POSPrinter” in the setting options. Set the “Port” to USB. Set the “Device Name Key” to “TM-T88.” Make sure the color setting is set to “Monochrome.”
4. Go to the “Bitmap” tab. In the earlier version of the OPOS ADK utility, you’ll have to click the “Device Details” button first to open the TM-T88 Details window. Then click the “Device Specific Settings” button to open the Device Specific Settings window. A prompt may appear asking “Would you like to save bitmap on flash memory.” If prompted, click “Yes.”
5. Click the “Open file” button on the “Bitmap” selection tab. Browse to find the image you would like to upload to the TM-T88 printer. Select the file, then click “Open.”
6. Go to the “Preview” tab. Click on the “Quality” setting radio button of your preference (“Single High & Wide,” “Double Wide,” “Double High,” or Double High & Wide”).
7. Select the “Logo Upload” tab. Click the “Printer” or “Device” button (depending upon which version of the Epson OPOS ADK configuration utility you’re using) to load the logo image into the printer.
8. Go to the “Logo Printout” tab and click “Print.”
