HP PhotoSmart Won't Print a PDF

1. Open another PDF on the computer. Click on either the printer icon at the top of the window, or click on 'File' and then 'Print'.
2. Check the pull-down menu at the top of the print window to make sure your Photosmart printer is selected. Click on the 'OK' button to send the file to the printer.
3. Print the original PDF as an image if the second PDF prints without any problems. Click on 'File' in the original PDF, then 'Print' and select the 'Advanced' button. Click on the box next to 'Print As Image' and click the 'OK' button twice.
4. Open a document in another program and try printing it with your Photosmart. If the document that is not a PDF printed without problems, download the PDFs again and try printing them.
5. Restart the computer if you have problems printing anything with the printer. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds, then turn the printer back on. Check the USB cable connecting the printer to the computer and make sure it is properly connected at both ends.
