How to Print Envelopes With a Brother MFC 9840CDW

1. Flip through the stack of no more than three envelopes to make sure none are stuck together. Tap one end of the stack of envelopes on a hard, flat surface to line up the envelopes, then push on the top of the stack of envelopes to flatten it.
2. Pull out the output tray support arm, then fold down the multipurpose tray door. Place the envelopes' top edge into the tray first, with the print side facing upward.
3. Turn on the MFC 9840CDW and the attached computer. Open your preferred word processor to enter any text or images you wish to print on the envelopes.
4. Click the 'File' option at the top of the program's window, then select 'Print.' Click the 'Properties' button to open a new window, then in the 'Paper' tab select 'Envelopes' under the 'Type' heading.
5. Click the 'OK' button to save your settings and return to the print window. Click the 'Print' button to begin processing the print job.
