How to Reset the Task Bar (4 Steps)

1. Right click on a clear area of the Windows task bar and click on 'Properties' to bring up the task bar settings.
2. Enable the 'Lock the taskbar' option to ensure the task bar's size and position remain the same; this option is enabled by default. Disable the 'Auto-hide the taskbar' and the 'Use small icons' options if they have been enabled.
3. Change the task bar location to the default 'bottom' position from the list of available options and change the 'Taskbar buttons' setting to 'Always Combine, hide labels.'
4. Click 'Apply' to reset the task bar to its default position and settings. Click 'OK' to close the window.
