How to Refill Canon MP560 Ink Tanks (8 Steps)

1. Place a strip of vinyl tape over the outlet hole on the bottom of the cartridge.
2. Peel the top label back to expose the small dimple near the front of the cartridge.
3. Drill a hole into the dimple with the thumb drill.
4. Fill a syringe with the appropriate color and amount of ink. The black cartridge holds 9 ml of ink. Each color cartridge holds 4 ml of ink.
5. Insert the needle of the syringe into the drilled hole. Slowly inject the ink into the ink chamber.
6. Place the set screw in the hole. Screw the set screw into the cartridge with the Allen wrench to create an airtight seal.
7. Remove the vinyl tape from the outlet hole.
8. Replace the cartridge into the printer. Run one to three print head cleaning cycles to get the ink flowing.
