1. Turn off your laptop and Samsung HDTV. Turn the TV around so the back of the device is facing you.
2. Plug the 1/8 inch end of a stereo cable into the 'Headphone' jack on the side of your laptop.
3. Plug the red RCA end of the stereo cable into the 'Audio In -- Right' jack on the back of your TV.
4. Plug the white RCA end of the stereo cable into the 'Audio In -- Left' jack on the back of your TV.
5. Turn the TV around so the front of the device is facing you.
6. Plug in and turn on both the laptop and TV.
7. Use your Samsung HDTV's remote control to navigate to the TV's menu. Select 'AV' or 'Line' to activate the RCA/audio ports on the TV. If you have already connected the video from your laptop to the TV, select 'PC' or 'Computer' on the TV's menu.
8. Press the key combination on your laptop to activate the laptop-to-TV connection.
9. Insert a CD into your laptop's CD/DVD drive. The CD will 'autoplay.' You will hear audio from your computer being transmitted to your Samsung HDTV. If you don't hear any sound being transmitted to the TV, check the settings on the TV and the connection cable.If the CD didn't autoplay, open your computer's media player and manually play the CD.
