1. Use your thumb to lift the black plastic tab on the cartridge. The tab is in the middle portion of the cartridge, separated from the gray part of the body on both sides. Upon rotating the tab towards yourself, the toner filling port is revealed. The port is a small hole in which you will put the toner.
2. Turn the toner bottle upside down and shake it gently. This will loosen the toner inside the bottle and will allow it to flow easily during refilling.
3. Put the toner bottle back to its original position. Remove the bottle's cap and pull off its seal.
4. Attach a funnel cap to the bottle's mouth.
5. Insert the funnel cap into the filling port and let the toner flow into the cartridge.
6. Remove the bottle and close its cap when the cartridge is full.
7. Twist the plastic tab to lock it back into place.
8. Insert the cartridge into the printer.
